2026-27 Blazers Fantasy Preview

The return of Damian Lillard (Achilles) and the arrival of Ja Morant (trade) will shake up the Blazers’ roster this season. Who will benefit and who will suffer in fantasy as a result of the new team dynamics?

Donovan Clingan, C

📊 Trend: ⬆️

🗝️ Key Stats:  REB, BLK, 3PM, FG%, TO

⚠️ Risk: 🟢 Low

🔓 Value Unlock: Further improve on his 3-point shooting volume and accuracy

💡 Quick Hits: Clingan recorded a remarkable second season in the league in 2025-26, providing elite rebounding, reliable shot blocking, and a developing 3-point shot. Clingan still has room to grow, so there’s a good chance that his development allows him to beat his ADP.

❓ Big Question(s): Can Clingan improve offensively, so he can offer more than just rebounds and blocks?

🎯 Draft Range: 35-45

⭐ Fantasy Take: Clingan can tread the line between a traditional big man and a stretch-five floor-spacer. Sure, that’s a bit generous, but it’s not often that you see a big man who averages double-digit boards and can hit one three per game (hopefully more).

Deni Avdija, SG/SF/PF

📊 Trend: ⬆️⬆️

🗝️ Key Stats: PTS, REB, AST, FG%

⚠️ Risk: 🟠 Medium

🔓 Value Unlock: Earn enough usage as a second scoring option

💡 Quick Hits: Avdija had a fantastic breakout campaign in 2025-26, posting fresh career-highs in multiple categories as the Blazers’ offense flowed through him. Averaging 20-6-6, Avdija became an All-Star.

❓ Big Question(s):  How much will Deni’s production drop, now that Ja Morant and Damian Lillard are in the starting backcourt?

🎯 Draft Range: 65-75

⭐ Fantasy Take: There’s a lot to love about Avdija’s fantasy game, especially considering his growth from last season. However, it’s difficult not to fade him given the Lillard and Morant situation. On the bright side, we should see an improvement in his 3.8 turnovers from last season.

Damian Lillard, PG

📊 Trend: ⬇️

🗝️ Key Stats: PTS, AST, 3PM, FT%

⚠️ Risk: 🟠 ➡️ 🔴 Medium to High

🔓 Value Unlock: Bring back some of his pre-injury high-volume scoring and 3-point shooting

💡 Quick Hits: Lillard missed the entire 2025-26 season while recovering from surgery to repair a torn Achilles suffered in April 2025. He did return to competitive shooting during the 2026 All-Star Weekend, winning the 3-Point Contest.

❓ Big Question(s):  How many games will Lillard play in his first season back? How much of the old Dame will we see?

🎯 Draft Range:  65-75

⭐ Fantasy Take: As an elite long-range shooter, Lillard can easily deliver the volume he needs to be fantasy relevant. The question now is “how many games can the 36-year-old star realistically handle?” It’s unlikely we see him return to his former first-round glory, but given the current draft discounts we’re seeing, he could be a value play in the middle rounds.

Ja Morant, PG

📊 Trend: ⬇️

🗝️ Key Stats:  PTS, AST, FG%, FT%

⚠️ Risk: 🟠 ➡️ 🔴 Medium to High

🔓 Value Unlock: Recapture his elite rim pressure and transition efficiency.

💡 Quick Hits: Morant’s 2025-26 season was derailed by a left UCL elbow sprain, limiting him to playing 20 games. Both durability and off-court issues have become red flags for Morant. He has a lot to prove now that he’s getting a fresh start with the Blazers.

❓ Big Question(s):  Can he bring out some of his pre-injury athleticism and convert it into fantasy-worthy production?

🎯 Draft Range:  80-90

⭐ Fantasy Take:  Morant’s recent history is still painfully fresh in many fantasy managers’ minds, and there’s a lot of erring on the side of caution when it comes to evaluating him for this season. This makes him an interesting risk-reward pick, considering his current ADP. Given the number of potential bounce-back candidates out there, I’d rather pick someone with either higher upside, or lower risk.

Toumani Camara, SF/PF

📊 Trend: ↔️

🗝️ Key Stats:  STL, 3PM, TO

⚠️ Risk: 🟢 Low

🔓 Value Unlock: Recover some of the steals he lost last season while maintaining his improved 3-point shooting.

💡 Quick Hits: Camara’s value slid slightly last season due to a decrease in his steals to 1.1 SPG from a previous 1.5 SPG. On a positive note, he saw improvement offensively, raising his 3PM to 2.7. He has the makings of a two-way player, but he’s still in the process of figuring it out.

❓ Big Question(s):  Can Camara handle an expanded role offensively?

🎯 Draft Range: 120-130

⭐ Fantasy Take: Camara’s spot-up shooting will come into play this season. With both Lillard and Morant having the ball and drawing so much of the defense, there’s room for Camara to thrive as a catch-and-shoot 3-point specialist on offense. Until the steals return, he’s still more of a specialist.

Jrue Holiday, PG/SG

📊 Trend: ⬆️

🗝️ Key Stats: AST, STL, 3PM, FT%, TO

⚠️ Risk: 🟠Medium

🔓 Value Unlock: Earn meaningful minutes and contribute in a sixth-man role.

💡 Quick Hits:  Holiday saw a renaissance in his game last season, delivering production and value for the star-starved Blazers. Unfortunately for him, Damian Lillard and Ja Morant will likely send him to a reserve role this season.

❓ Big Question(s): Is there enough ball to share for Holiday to get the usage he needs to be a fantasy contributor? How will the Blazers utilize him?

🎯 Draft Range:  125-135

⭐ Fantasy Take:  Don’t expect Holiday to retain his production from last season. The revamped Blazers backcourt changes the narrative completely. Is he still a great defensive guard who can score? Yes. He’s best viewed as a late-round depth guard whose fantasy value depends heavily on his role.

👀 Players to Watch: Robert Williams III, Scoot Henderson, Shaedon Sharpe
