2026-27 Bucks Fantasy Preview
The Bucks got a sizable haul of players when they traded away Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Heat. With greater depth, but still no true star power, how will the Bucks navigate this rebuilding phase?
Tyler Herro, PG/SG
📊 Trend: ⬇️
🗝️ Key Stats: PTS, 3PM, FG%, FT%
⚠️ Risk: 🟠 Medium
🔓 Value Unlock: Score close to 25.0 PPG with 2.8 3PG as the Bucks’ go-to scorer
💡 Quick Hits: Herro had a rough 2025-26 season, seeing declines in key categories. Now that he’s the Bucks’ first scoring option, we can expect a bounce-back campaign. He has a lot to prove, especially since his long-term place with the Bucks has yet to be established.
❓ Big Question(s): Can Herro bring back his high-scoring form and be a nightly 20-5-5 threat who flirts with close to three triples per night?
🎯 Draft Range: 45-55
⭐ Fantasy Take: Herro has a lot ot prove this season. If he’s not part of the Bucks’ long-term plans, he’s then motivated to perform so he can earn his next big payday. When healthy, Herro has proven he can deliver value.
Kel’el Ware, PF/C
📊 Trend: ⬆️
🗝️ Key Stats: REB, BLK, 3PM, FG%, TO
⚠️ Risk: 🟢 ➡️ 🟠 Low to Medium
🔓 Value Unlock: Get consistent playing time as a starter
💡 Quick Hits: Ware dropped some monster lines when he was given extra leash in Miami last season. He can play alongside Myles Turner, who is definitely not Bam Adebayo. Expect the Bucks to kick the tires and see if Ware fits their long-term plans.
❓ Big Question(s): Can the Bucks be a team where Ware can grow and truly shine in fantasy?
🎯 Draft Range: 55-65
⭐ Fantasy Take: Ware is a high-upside player who could have a perfect storm of factors to explode this season. That, or he could flop and rot on the bench. I’d lean more on the former than the latter here. Ware’s passed the eye test too many times already to question his potential.
Ryan Rollins, PG/SG
📊 Trend: ⬆️
🗝️ Key Stats: PTS, AST, STL, 3PM, FG%
⚠️ Risk: 🟢 Low
🔓 Value Unlock: Stick as a starter and build on his breakout from last season
💡 Quick Hits: Rollins ended up being one of the hottest pickups in fantasy last season thanks to an impressive breakout.
❓ Big Question(s): Can Rollins sustain his production from last season despite the added depth in Milwaukee?
🎯 Draft Range: 65-75
⭐ Fantasy Take: Rollins is currently on a budget-friendly deal and is the perfect homegrown talent that the Bucks can build around. As a combo guard with a PG skill set, Rollins can thrive alongside Tyler Herro. Trust in his breakout from last season. He’s the real deal.
Myles Turner, C
📊 Trend: ⬇️⬇️
🗝️ Key Stats: BLK, 3PM, FG%, TO
⚠️ Risk: 🟠 Medium
🔓 Value Unlock: Consistently deliver his stretch-five stats of 3s, BLK, and FG%
💡 Quick Hits: Turner’s production has taken a nosedive ever since he signed with the Bucks. Despite numerous opportunities, Turner didn’t deliver.
❓ Big Question(s): Was last season rock-bottom for Turner? Is there a way back up from fantasy Hell?
🎯 Draft Range: 90-100
⭐ Fantasy Take: Due to Turner’s ugly fall from grace, the market has reacted, maybe even overreacted. Since he’s no longer an exciting pick, if he falls far enough, he could just be a value pick.
Kevin Porter Jr., PG/SG
📊 Trend: ⬆️
🗝️ Key Stats: PTS, REB, AST, STL, FT%
⚠️ Risk: 🟠 Medium
🔓 Value Unlock: Earn a bigger on-ball role, even as a sixth man
💡 Quick Hits: KPJ broke out last season, but was limited to playing 38 games. He thrived as the starting PG for a hot second, but the Bucks were almost a completely different team then.
❓ Big Question(s): How does KPJ fit in the Bucks’ rebuilding plans?
🎯 Draft Range: 105-115
⭐ Fantasy Take: Porter showed us a glimpse of his fantasy ceiling. But whether he can produce that kind of value consistently remains in question. Draft him based on his floor and not the potential he showed.
Jaime Jaquez Jr., SG/SF/PF
📊 Trend: ⬆️
🗝️ Key Stats: REB, AST, STL, FG%
⚠️ Risk: 🟢 Low
🔓 Value Unlock: Start at small forward and play over 28 MPG
💡 Quick Hits: Jaquez is a high-skilled player who has a golden opportunity as the potential starting SF for the Bucks this season. He lacks a 3-point shot, but he’s a good facilitator and slasher.
❓ Big Question(s): Can Jaquez finally turn his talent into meaningful fantasy value?
🎯 Draft Range: 110-120
⭐ Fantasy Take: Jaquez is a borderline sleeper right now, considering his breakout potential. He doesn’t hurt you anywhere, but he can have a high fantasy ceiling.
👀 Players to Watch: Brayden Burries, Ousmane Dieng, Kasparas Jackucionis
