2026-27 Raptors Fantasy Preview

The Raptors get a massive boost this season with the return of Kawhi Leonard. While he’s a blue-chip fantasy asset who only needs to avoid injury, other Raptors are poised to deliver quality production and value as well.

Scottie Barnes, SF/PF/C

📊 Trend: ⬆️

🗝️ Key Stats:  REB, AST, STL, BLK

⚠️ Risk: 🟢 Low

🔓 Value Unlock: Thrive in an expanded offensive role. Improve on his 3-point shot

💡 Quick Hits: Scottie has elite upside when it comes to steals and blocks (stocks). He’s a nightly triple-double threat. His FG% and FT% last season were career-bests and need to hold.

❓ Big Question(s): How can Barnes coexist with Kawhi Leonard?

🎯 Draft Range:  15-20

⭐ Fantasy Take: Barnes is still on the rise,, and his ability to play multiple positions adds to his appeal. His diverse stat line gives him plenty of paths to fantasy value, while his improved shooting percentages could push him into another tier if they hold.

Kawhi Leonard, SG/SF/PF

📊 Trend: ⬆️

🗝️ Key Stats: PTS, STL, 3PM, FG%, FT%, TO

⚠️ Risk: 🟠 ➡️ 🔴 Medium to High

🔓 Value Unlock: Stay healthy enough to play as many games as possible

💡 Quick Hits: There is no question about Kawhi’s per-game production; it’s truly elite. He’s now played at least 65 games in two of the last three seasons, which is encouraging. To be fair, he’s now played 65-plus games in two of the last three seasons, which is an encouraging sign.

❓ Big Question(s): How many games will Kawhi play this season?

🎯 Draft Range: 30-35

⭐ Fantasy Take: Few players are better than Kawhi when it comes to delivering a stat line that boasts of high-volume, efficient scoring, elite steals, some 3s, and very low turnovers. When it comes to his appeal, the divisiveness couldn’t be more real. You’re either a manager who is enamored with his per-game production and is eager to draft him at a discount every year, or a manager who fears his lack of durability and would rather stay away.

Immanuel Quickley, PG

📊 Trend: ⬆️

🗝️ Key Stats:  PTS, AST, STL, 3PM, TO

⚠️ Risk: 🟢 Low

🔓 Value Unlock: Higher usage, more playmaking opportunities

💡 Quick Hits: Improvement in steals per game was at the heart of Quickley’s fantasy value last season. He also had a longish stretch where he shot well from the field, so there’s hope for improved FG% down the road. Another advantage I.Q. has is his low turnovers.

❓ Big Question(s): Can Quickley turn his growth on defense from last season into consistent fantasy production in 2026-27?

🎯 Draft Range: 85-95

⭐ Fantasy Take: Quickley has become a bit of a value play at his current ADP. He can give you points, assists, threes and steals without piling up turnovers, making him an appealing late-round guard.

Jakob Poeltl, C

📊 Trend: ⬇️

🗝️ Key Stats: REB, BLK, STL, FG%, TO

⚠️ Risk: 🔴 High

🔓 Value Unlock: Stay healthy and earn consistent playing time

💡 Quick Hits: Poeltl has averaged fewer than 60 games played over the last three seasons. Poeltl’s per-game numbers remain solid, but his blocks and steals declined last season, along with his minutes per game.

❓ Big Question(s): Can Poeltl hold off CMB and maintain a fantasy-relevant role?

🎯 Draft Range: 125-135

⭐ Fantasy Take: The minutes and production are trending down, and Collin Murray-Boyles is a legitimate threat to Poeltl’s minutes. It’s difficult to find an optimistic angle for him to bounce back this season.

Collin Murray-Boyles, PF/C

📊 Trend: ⬆️

🗝️ Key Stats:  REB, STL, BLK, FG%, TO

⚠️ Risk: 🟢 Low

🔓 Value Unlock: Minutes climb to 28+ per game

💡 Quick Hits: CMB’s steals and blocks combination is promising. His 3-point shooting remains a work in progress. His FG% is very good, but his FT% needs to improve.

❓ Big Question(s):  How much of a bigger role will the Raptors give Murray-Boyles this season? Will he eventually start?

🎯 Draft Range: 110-120

⭐ Fantasy Take: The offense doesn’t need to come right away. We want to see him develop as a defensive stopper while consistently providing more rebounds, steals, and blocks on a nightly basis. He’s a high-upside young player who is worth a late-round pick.

RJ Barrett, SG/SF/PF

📊 Trend:  ↔️

🗝️ Key Stats: PTS, 3PM, FG%

⚠️ Risk:  🟢 Low

🔓 Value Unlock: Add defensive stats, as unlikely as that may be

💡 Quick Hits: Barrett simply is better as a points league asset. His hollow stat line just doesn’t cut in category scoring leagues. His turnovers went down last season, but so did his assists, creating a category wash.

❓ Big Question(s): Can Barrett squeeze more fantasy value out of a stat line that remains fairly one-dimensional?

🎯 Draft Range: 135-145

⭐ Fantasy Take: There’s still a big disconnect between Barrett’s ability to score and his limited fantasy value in cat leagues. As a result, his ADP often runs ahead of his actual 9-cat value. Unless your team is desperate for points, let another manager fall into the RJ trap.

👀 Players to Watch: Ja’Kobe Walter, Allen Graves
