*The Wolves made some bold moves this offseason, adding LaMelo Ball to their backcourt and Jonathan Kuminga to their frontcourt, while letting Naz Reid go to the Hornets. How will Anthony Edwards’ new supporting cast jell? Who will pop with fantasy value?*

### Anthony Edwards, PG/SG

**📊 Trend: ⬆️**

**🗝️ Key Stats:** PTS, STL, 3PM, FG%

**⚠️ Risk: 🟢** Low

**🔓 Value Unlock:** Improve scoring efficiency and reduce turnovers

**💡 Quick Hits:** Edwards has been a longtime threat in the scoring and 3-point shooting categories. LaMelo Ball has been added to reduce Edwards’ on-ball playmaking duties. The thinking here is that Edwards should be able to focus more on scoring and being an unstoppable force on offense.

**❓ Big Question(s):** How will Edwards’ game change now that he’s playing with a passing point guard of LaMelo’s caliber?

**🎯 Draft Range:** 8-11

**⭐ Fantasy Take:** LaMelo Ball’s arrival should be seen as a plus rather than a threat to Edwards’ fantasy value. His elite playmaking should create better looks for Edwards while reducing his on-ball responsibilities. If that translates into better FG% and fewer turnovers, Edwards could finally break into the top 10\.

### LaMelo Ball, PG

**📊 Trend: ↔️**

**🗝️ Key Stats:** PTS, REB, AST, 3PM, STL

**⚠️ Risk:** 🔴 High

**🔓 Value Unlock:** Stay healthy; play 60+ games while handling heavy minutes

**💡 Quick Hits:** Ball played 72 games in 2025-26, the second most of his career, but it came along with a career-low 28.0 MPG. Charlotte went to unusual lengths to manage his workload.

**❓ Big Question(s):** Can LaMelo stay healthy enough to form one of the league’s most dangerous backcourts with Anthony Edwards?

**🎯 Draft Range:** 35-45

**⭐ Fantasy Take:** LaMelo’s 72-game season should be seen as an outlier. The Hornets experimented with him coming off the bench, hard-capping his playing time, and whatever else they could imagine to keep him on the floor when it mattered. The Wolves have more incentive to keep the ball in his hands and maximize his minutes. As always, Ball is one of the biggest risk-reward picks in fantasy. When healthy, he’s a cold assassin. He just needs that bit of durability to take him over the top.

### Jaden McDaniels, SF/PF

**📊 Trend: ⬆️**

**🗝️ Key Stats:** STL, BLK, FG%, FT%, TO

**⚠️ Risk:** 🟢 Low

**🔓 Value Unlock:** Increase offensive production without sacrificing efficiency

**💡 Quick Hits:** McDaniels has been improving over the last three seasons and, like a slow burn, we expect another step in the right direction. He’s respected as a defensive stopper, but he’s also shown some explosive games.

**❓ Big Question(s):** Can McDaniels finally balance offense with his elite defense this season?

**🎯 Draft Range:** 65-75

**⭐ Fantasy Take:** McDaniels is exactly the kind of glue guy who can quietly help a balanced 9-cat build. If his offensive aggression continues to increase without sacrificing his FG% and defensive production, he could outperform his draft range. Trust the growth. Trust the trajectory.

### Rudy Gobert, C

**📊 Trend:** ⬇️

**🗝️ Key Stats:** REB, BLK, FG%, TO

**⚠️ Risk: 🟢** Low

**🔓 Value Unlock:** Benefit from easier interior opportunities

**💡 Quick Hits:** Gobert is entering the later stages of his career, but his durability remains remarkable. He has played 70-plus games in four straight seasons while maintaining elite rebounding and rim protection.

**❓ Big Question(s):** Does Gobert still have enough in the tank to deliver the key categories that fantasy managers have come to count on?

**🎯 Draft Range:** 75-85

**⭐ Fantasy Take:** Gobert's job is straightforward: anchor the Wolves' defense and dominate the glass. His declining FT% is a concern, but his durability and elite REB/BLK/FG% combination still gives him a clear path to value. LaMelo's presence could provide some additional easy looks around the rim.

### Ayo Dosunmu, PG/SG

**📊 Trend:** ⬆️

**🗝️ Key Stats:** PTS, AST, STL, FG%, FT%, TO

**⚠️ Risk:** 🟢 Low

**🔓 Value Unlock:** Thrive in a sixth-man role by maximizing his playmaking abilities

**💡 Quick Hits:** Ayo is a multi-category contributor whose improvement on defense can be a swing factor.

**❓ Big Question(s):** Can Ayo get enough minutes and usage to shine in fantasy?

**🎯 Draft Range:** 100-110

**⭐ Fantasy Take:** The arrival of Jonathan Kuminga pushes Ayo toward a reserve role, but his versatility could keep him involved even when the starting five is healthy. His fantasy value will ultimately come down to whether he can earn enough minutes and touches to let his multi-category production shine.

### Jonathan Kuminga, SF/PF

**📊 Trend:** ⬆️

**🗝️ Key Stats:** PTS, REB, FG%

**⚠️ Risk:** 🟠 Medium

**🔓 Value Unlock:** Turn increased opportunity into well-rounded production

**💡 Quick Hits:** Kuminga is in a prove-it season and will want to showcase what he can bring to the table. Thankfully, the Wolves were thin at his position and offered him a starting gig.

**❓ Big Question(s):** How will Kuminga fit with the Wolves? Can he emerge as a reliable third scoring option?

**🎯 Draft Range:** 135-150

**⭐ Fantasy Take:** Kuminga doesn't need to become a 25-PPG scorer to pay off at this draft price. The real question is whether he can turn a guaranteed opportunity into rebounds, assists, and defensive stats while maintaining his FG%. If he does, his late-round ADP leaves plenty of room for profit.

### Joan Beringer, PF/C

**📊 Trend:** ⬆️

**🗝️ Key Stats:** REB, BLK, FG%, TO

**⚠️ Risk:** 🟢 ➡️ 🟠 Low to Medium

**🔓 Value Unlock:** Play 18-22 minutes per game

**💡 Quick Hits:** Beringer is young and offensively raw, but Naz Reid's departure opened frontcourt minutes, and his PF/C versatility gives him a path into the rotation.

**❓ Big Question(s):** Can Beringer translate opportunities this season into meaningful fantasy value?

**🎯 Draft Range:** 140-150

**⭐ Fantasy Take:** Beringer’s outlook took a hit when the Wolves signed Kuminga in the offseason, but his ability to play both power forward and center should keep him in the rotation. He’s an interesting high-upside flier pick late in drafts.

**👀 Players to Watch:** Terrence Shannon Jr., Bones Hyland, Cody Williams
